The department was established in the year 1993

Aim – To inculcate scientific temper and health awareness in women and empower them through quality education

Mission – To respond to the global demands for new kinds of programs providing creative and innovative educational experiences by concentrating more on updating curriculum improving infrastructure facilities and motivating the students to participate in academic development programs and community oriented activities.
