Coordinator Speaks

The cultural Association of Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala was founded in 1982 Sortly after the establishment of college.  It’s primary aim is to nurture the innate cultural talent of students and organize cultural events on campus by training students in Fine Ants

Under the guidance of Smt.K.Visala ,Smt.Sundaravalli Sureshan, Smt.Chandrika, Smt.M.Sarala Devi, Kum.Radhika and Kum.Suvarchala as members, the cultural committee commenced.

From 2001 to 2004, Smt KKD Jhansi Lakshmi Bai has been the coordinator for the Degree college.  From 2005 to 2024. Dr M Sarala Devi, assured the responsibility coordinator. Since 2024 coordinatorship has been handed over to Smt P. Ratna Sree.  The committee has always operated to upgrade excellence with the core mission of conducting cultural activities both in and out of Campus

The Passionate for coordinators have worked tirelessly to promote various Art forms like classical, traditional dance, drama, Folk/tribal music all the while upholding language, culture, Mythology and heritage. Students are instrumental in changing the social and cultural scenario.

As India is the heart of  Mythological and Philosophical beliefs in tradition and spirituality, the coordinators motivate students to learn art with dedication for their holistic development

The committee has several r responsibilities like:

•          Identifying student’s interests and their innate talents by conducting showcase events within the campus.
•          Forming teams with the selected students.
•          Offering proper guidance and training to the students.
•          Motivating students to participate in various competitions at various levels.
•          Organizing cultural programs with in the college.
•          Providing support for academic events such as Independence Day, Republic Day, and College Annual Day etc.
•          Conducting cultural outreach programs in rural areas to inspire and enlighten people through skits, mimes, songs.
•          Engaging Students actively in community service in both Government and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs)
